Push-up: this one of the best bodyweight exercises. wiether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced- press-ups are done by everyone.

And there are many variations- (from beginner to advance) like incline, decline, wide, one leg, etc.

One of the best things about this exercise is that- 'no equipment'.
this Means, It requires only you and your body and nothing else.

While doing this, many muscles are activated like- the shoulder, triceps, chest, and back.
Which makes it a perfect compound movement.

Once you know how to perform a press up in the correct form, then you are a few steps long to achieve its benefits.

Then, you have to watch this video (as you see below).

A push-up is a great full-body workout. Many muscles are engaged at the time of doing this exercise. Muscles include- the tricep, chest, shoulder, core, back, biceps, and even leg- at once.

It’s also helpful for building and increasing strength.

2. Stretch muscles

As we all know, stretching the muscles and warm-up is important before/after exercises.

But some of us fail to do warm-ups and stretching.

This is another benefit of push-up is that they will help you to stretch the muscles, warm them up, and increase elasticity and flexibility.

3. Strength Upper body

This can help to build muscles and strengthen the upper body.

While performing, muscles include not only the chest (as many of you think) but also the arm, core and even leg muscles too.

Push up is also helpful in improving body posture.
Because of daily lifestyle like using pc, seating at the office for work, etc. May destroy your posture and Improper posture can destroy your health.

Another reason reasons for bad posture is a weak core.

Pushups can help in improving your posture because doing a press-up, engage many muscles including the core, which will be helpful to build a strong and strengthen the core.

5. Perfect chest

If you want to build a perfect chest, then pushup is the best exercise, which will help you to build mass and sculpt your chest.

While doing a pushup- target the upper, lower, and middle chest at once.
After doing it you feel- a thicker and tighter chest.

(Don’t believe in me, first, you do then believe)

6. Quick energy

Whenever you feel tired or your eyelids start closing while you are at work, or at the time of study then start doing pushup as much as you can.

It jumpstarts your heartbeat, increasing the circulation of fresh blood and oxygen to energize your entire body.

7. Compound movement

Of course, as you read above: many muscles are engaged while performing this exercise which makes it a perfect compound movement.

8. Do it anywhere

One of the best things I like about push ups is that- ‘anywhere’.
That means you can do it anywhere. Either you are in the park, at home, or on vacation, no matter where. You can do it everywhere.

9. No cost

If you don’t want to spend money on a gym membership or buy any gym equipment.

Then, a pushup is a great exercise that requires no gym. And you don’t have to spend money on equipment either.

This means pushups are free if you are looking to keep your body fit.

CONCLUSION:-

As you get to know how this exercise is helpful for you from stretching to building muscle in your chest and the best part is that it is free to do anywhere.

But make sure that you are doing it in the correct form so it's better to do it under guidance/trainer to avoid any kind of future injury.
